Community Town Hall Meetings

Community Town Hall meetings are open to any member of the public to attend. These meetings will be held on the following dates/ locations:

    • Saturday 6th April for Ikpoba-Okha
    • Saturday 13th April for Orhionmwon
    • Wednesday 17thApril for Esan-West
    • Saturday 27th April for Etsako-Central LGA

These meetings will run from 10:30- 3pm and include presentations and stories from women who have returned as well as a panel discussion on opportunities within Edo state.

Community Market Rallies​

Community Market rallies are open to any member of the public and will be held on typical market days.

Market rallies will run throughout the market trading period (10:00am – 3:00pm) and will include a roadshow and public discourse on human trafficking and the society.

Christian Gatherings on Worship days

These will take place on Sundays during church services in the most populous community churches. These will be held:

    • Sunday 7th April, 11:30am- 1pm – Ikpoba-Okha
    • Sunday 14th April, 11:30am- 1pm – Orhionmwon
    • Sunday 28th April, 11:30am- 1pm – Esan-West
    • Sunday 5th May-, 11:30am- 1pm -Etsako Central

Activities within the Sunday church services will include an introduction of the purpose of the visit, a short stage drama on the theme of human trafficking, pep talks on human trafficking and an open question and answer session.

Muslim Gatherings on Worship days

Muslim community engagement will take place on Fridays after Jumaat prayers at:

    • Friday 5th April, 1-2:30pm – Ikpoba-Okha
    • Friday 12th April, 1-2:30pm – Orhionmwon
    • Friday 26th April, 1-2:30pm – Esan-West
    • Friday 3rd May, 1-2:30pm -Etsako Central
